My Departure Gathering
I want to thank everyone who stopped by the Center to wish me well. Your presence, kind words, and that amazing cake (thanks Sister Pat! 😳) meant the world to me.
My journey in Bishop has been one of service, purpose, and faith. What began with my wife’s vision became our shared mission—to uplift others. Together, we launched two nonprofits, provided school security with Veterans, filled potholes, and opened a community Center that grew into a clothing closet, thrift store, soup kitchen, and more.
In just one year, we served over 1,500 meals and offered showers, laundry, and healing spaces through grief groups, NA meetings, and Bible studies. I even stepped into local elections—not to win, but to serve.
After my wife’s passing, I kept the mission alive because of the love and support from all of you. Every step was guided by God, and I believe deeply in the message: We are our brother’s keeper.
I pray this city continues to come together—across churches, nonprofits, and neighborhoods—to lift up those in need. Let’s not be divided, but united in spirit and love.
Thank you, Bishop. I carry you in my heart as I step into the next chapter.
